Suzanne joined Fair Deal in 1998 and has worked in various roles throughout her time at Fair Deal and has been in her current position since 2018
Suzanne is responsible for leading and motivating teams to enable people with learning disabilities who are supported by Fair Deal to have full and inclusive lives. This takes many forms and maximises the use of non paid support and natural supports so that people have more than just people paid to support them in their lives. She actively encourages people to think about their contribution to community life and to engage in community activities and events. She makes sure planning is person centred, support is personally tailored to suit individuals and that people enjoy fulfilled lives. She liaises with family members and carers, relevant professional agencies, care managers, commissioners and other staff. Suzanne’s main responsibilities include
