Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the Board I would like to say our first thoughts are with you and your families, and we hope you are all safe and well.

These are unprecedented times for us all and never before have the people and communities we serve needed our services more. People are depending on us.

This clearly isn’t business as usual and is a time of great stress, anxiety and uncertainty for everyone in the Fair Deal ‘family’. It’s also a moment in time when the work we’re doing is at its most critical.

I am truly in awe at how you have all learned, adapted and adjusted your work and implemented measures in line with government advice and the situation on the ground. If we continue to take these precautions I am confident we will manage this situation together.

I know some of the measures we have had to take can’t have been easy. I would therefore like to say a big thank you to all those who have made this possible – and to you all for complying with these arrangements and continuing to show great dedication in your day to day work.

This is a painful place for us all at the moment, but Fair Deal will get through this because first and foremost, we have you. And all of you have proved time and again that we stand together and deliver an outstanding personal service when faced with complex challenges.

While it may not seem that way at the moment, this situation will pass. And when it does, let us hope for a more grateful world that values and recognises the contribution frontline colleagues such as you make to keep our communities safe.

Thank you once again for all your hard work. Let us continue to help one another and look out for one another. The Board will do everything in our power to support you in this.
