Social and Leisure Activites
Fair Deal deliver a social and leisure programme from Monday to Friday which offers art classes, Zumba, gardening, music, games, sports and much more. Spaces at the Social & Leisure programme can be purchased using individual budgets.
We can offer support to people on a one to one basis who are looking to develop their own interests, develop hobbies, get involved in their local community, make new friends, join groups and connect up with people with similar interests and much more.
Fernhill Community Group
🌟 Welcome to Fair Deal at Fernhill! 🌟
We’re here Tuesday to Friday, 9:30am–2:30pm every week, offering both one‑to‑one and group support—whatever suits you best!
Each morning kicks off with a warm welcome, a cosy hot drink, and some toast to start the day right. Everyone has their own activity bag filled with knitting, colouring and bits to help you chat, relax and catch up with friends. And to set the tone for a great day, we each pick a positive affirmation card to give our morning a little sparkle. ✨
🎨 Tuesday – Arts, Crafts & Games
We dive into Arts and Crafts in the morning, while some of the group head out for the weekly food shop for Wednesday’s lunch. In the afternoon, the fun continues with a choice of games or a wellbeing activity—whatever the group fancies!
🍳 Wednesday – Cook, Bake & Bingo Day
Wednesday mornings are all about cooking up a delicious, healthy lunch together. In the afternoon, we either get baking or enjoy a crowd favourite… Bingo! 🎉
💃 Thursday – Belly Dancing & Karaoke
Thursday mornings get lively as we welcome Diane for our weekly Belly Dancing class—it’s always a brilliant mood‑booster! In the afternoon, we warm up those vocal cords for our much‑loved karaoke session. 🎤✨
🎳 Friday – Bowling & a Relaxing Afternoon
We kick off Friday with indoor bowling fun, then wind down in the afternoon with games, crochet, and chat as we look ahead to the weekend.
Netherholm Community Group

We’re here every Monday and Wednesday from 10:30am to 3:30pm, offering a mix of one‑to‑one and group support—whatever helps you shine! ✨
We kick things off the same way each day: tea, toast, and good chats. It’s the perfect moment to catch up after the weekend, share some laughs, or ease into the morning with a bit of mindful colouring.
🎨 Monday – Arts, Crafts & Zumba Fun!
Monday mornings are all about seasonal arts and crafts, and no two weeks are ever the same! You might find yourself creating a colourful Kandinsky tree for the start of spring, designing a glowing dragon lantern for Chinese New Year, making a bright painted sand project for summer, or crafting a cute wooden snowman in December.
In the afternoon, things get lively with Zumba led by an instructor, or if you prefer a chilled vibe, we’ve got indoor games ready to go.
🎬 Wednesday – Quizzes, Creativity & Karaoke Magic
We start Wednesday the same cosy way—with tea, toast and time to chat. Then the fun begins with movie and music quizzes, indoor and outdoor games, and mindful art projects to spark your creativity.
The afternoon brings one of our highlights: karaoke! 🎤 Whether you want to sing solo, duet, or belt it out as a group, it’s your moment to shine and show off those vocals.
