We’re here Tuesday to Friday, offering both one-to-one and group support. Each day starts with hot drinks, toast and a good chat, followed by activity bags, crafts and plenty of laughs.

Fair Deal delivers a social and leisure programme Monday to Friday — art classes, Zumba, gardening, music, games, sports and much more. Spaces can be purchased using individual budgets.

Individual Support

We offer one-to-one support to help you develop interests and hobbies, get involved in your community, and build lasting social connections.

Arts, Crafts & Games

🎨There is truly never a dull day at Fernhill. We believe life should be lived in full colour, with a side of something delicious and a healthy dose of friendly competition. Here is a glimpse into what makes our community so vibrant: 🎨

🖌️Unleashing Our Inner Masterpieces. In our arts and crafts sessions, we don’t just create—we let our imaginations run wild. Whether you’re channelling your inner Picasso with bold strokes or finding your Van Gogh spirit through texture and light, your creative side has total freedom here. We dive into a treasure trove of materials, from paints and pens to clay and (of course) plenty of glitter. When it comes to art, we believe there are no limits—only possibilities! 🖼️

🎲Games, Giggles, and Golden Moments. Inspiration at Fernhill comes from everywhere—the changing seasons, global events, and each other. When we aren’t busy with arts and crafts or cooking up a storm, you’ll find us locked in friendly battle over our favourite games. Whether it’s the strategic click of dominoes or a high-energy round of Bingo (a firm Fernhill favourite!), the room is always filled with cheers and laughter. 🎰

Cook, Bake & Bingo Day

🛒The Wednesday Feast: From Shop to Table Wednesdays are all about the “Inner Chef.” We start the day with a trip to the shops to hand-pick the best ingredients, then head back to the kitchen to turn our haul into a culinary celebration. We love to change it up, whipping up everything from hearty, warming soups and gourmet sandwiches, decadent cakes and flaky pastries to seasonal treats inspired by the world around us.

The best part? Sitting down together as a community to “scoff” our creations and enjoy the fruits of our labour! 🍰☕🥪

Eyes Down at Fernhill! 🎱

The atmosphere is electric when the bingo balls start rolling! Whether you’re a focused player with a lucky dabber or our charismatic Bingo Caller, everyone gets in on the action.

The tension builds until you can hear a pin drop… then someone shouts “FULL HOUSE!” and the room erupts! It’s high-energy, high-excitement, and a whole lot of fun. Win or lose, the laughter and community spirit make every game a winner. 🎰🥳

Shimmy into the Week at Fernhill! ✨

💃The energy is soaring as we welcome our professional belly dancing instructor! Every week, she brings us vibrant new routines that are truly good for the soul.

We definitely get our exercise in, but with the upbeat music and non-stop laughter with friends, you’ll forget you’re even working out! It’s all about the rhythm, the movement, and the fantastic vibes. ˖ ݁♬⋆.˚𝄞

High energy, great company, and plenty of shimmies—it’s the ultimate way to stay active and happy!

The volume is up and the spirits are high when it’s Karaoke time! From all-time classics to brave new hits, we love blasting out the tunes that make us move.

You don’t need the “X Factor” to take the stage here—we encourage everyone to grab the mic and belt out their song! It’s all about the joy of the music, the cheers from friends, and letting your inner superstar shine. 🤩

The competition really kicks in when the indoor bowls come out! There’s nothing quite like the focus in the room as everyone aims for the jack. You’ll hear plenty of us “encouraging” our bowls to stay close and cheering on every great shot. 🧿

It’s a perfect blend of skill, friendly rivalry, and great company. Whether you’re a pro or a beginner, the energy is fantastic and the support is even better. Game on!
