I wanted to update you on some organisational information since my last briefing in July.

AGM

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on the 17th September at 1pm. Due to the ongoing pandemic this will be a virtual meeting on Zoom. Invites are being posted this week with details however if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Mobile Phones

You will have received an email from the Business Support Team with advice on how to access your new mobile phone. Please refer to the guidance issued and note that phones can only be collected/exchanged by appointment and in person.

Health and Safety

You will have been issued with a recent H&S briefing via email. We intend to send these monthly with any H&S updates or information both COVID-19 and non-COVID related. Please ensure you read the updates and speak to your line manager with any questions or comments. The latest COVID-19 updates are held within the Health and Safety briefing. In addition to the briefing you will receive a copy of our updated organisational risk assessment for service provision during the COVID-19 pandemic please ensure you read and familiarise yourself with this.

Reusable Face Coverings

Face coverings are now mandatory in shops and on public transport. We still have a stock of these at the base so if you or a person you support requires one please email or call the business support team to request.

Social and Leisure Provision

We continue to provide the Social and Leisure programme online and feedback to this has been very positive. If anyone you support does not have technology or internet access and would like to take part please get in touch to discuss.

Zoom

Just a reminder that I continue to host a weekly zoom session for all staff every Wed. Please note a change to the time these will now take place at 5.30pm every week and this provides an opportunity for you to come and ask questions and hear the latest updates. There is also a four weekly zoom session where I catch up with the people we support, please do encourage anyone you are supporting who might want a chat to join. The link is included in the Social and Leisure timetable.
