Eddie Kotrys joined the Board as the new Chair in 2026. Eddie brings more than 27 years of experience across Scotland’s justice sector, with a career spanning frontline operations, senior leadership, and national strategic roles. He began his career with the Scottish Prison Service in 1999, progressing from Prison Officer to senior management positions across prisons, SPS Headquarters, and the SPS College. Following a period as Deputy Chief Executive of Parole Scotland, Eddie joined the Risk Management Authority in 2022 as Head of Effective Practice, where he works closely with justice partners and government to support effective practice and public protection.
