Support Worker – Glasgow South

Fair Deal is an award-winning social enterprise based in Glasgow, with over 35 years of experience supporting people with learning disabilities providing person-centred support. We work alongside the people we support to help them live their lives with their choice and greater independence.

We are currently recruiting Support Workers in the Glasgow South area.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will support individuals in their everyday lives, helping them achieve their goals, maintain their wellbeing and encourage them to participate in their community.

Your responsibilities may include personal care, medication support, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, household tasks and supporting individuals to enjoy social activities and develop their independence.

We are looking for people who are caring, reliable, positive and approachable, with a genuine interest in supporting others.

What We’re Looking For

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive, resilient and confident approach.
• The ability to follow policies, procedures and support plans.
• The ability to build positive relationships with the people we support.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

A driving licence is preferable.
