Responsibilities

Scott was initially employed by Fair Deal as a development worker in 2010, however since 2026 he has worked with the Help Yourself Grow Cooking and Social & Therapeutic Programme as a co-trainer. Scott now spends all of his time concentrating on the gardening aspect of the programme, working closely with the Help Yourself Grow Team Leader and horticultural trainers to deliver bespoke, small group social and therapeutic gardening. Scott runs a small volunteer groups who help maintain our training garden and in addition, he has also been involved in delivery of the Help Yourself Grow Schools gardening programme, delivering gardening sessions to 3 Additional Support Needs Schools in the Glasgow area.
